The type of colours that I use are vital and so it is something that I will need to take into consideration very closely. The colours that I use will be vital in the poster and magazine cover as this will be the main focus of how I attract the target market. Below are some colour schemes that I have shown my focus group and the best one will be the one that I will use. I will say why at the end of this post.
1blue & black on yellow | 2 white & black on pink | 3 white & black on green | 4 white& blackon blue | 5 black on grey |
6 blue & black on yellow | 7 white & black on magenta | 8 white & black on green | 9 white & black on blue | 10 white & black on grey |
11 blue & black on yellow | 12 white & black on pink | 13 white & black on green | 14 white & black on blue | 15 white & black on grey |
16 blue & black on yellow | 17 white & yellow on red | 18 white & yellow on green | 19 white & yellow on blue | 20 white & yellow on grey |
21 white & blue on orange | 22 white & yellow on red | 23 white & yellow on green | 24 white & yellow on blue | 25 white & yellow on dark grey |
26 white & blue on orange | 27 white & yellow on brown | 28 white & yellow on green | 29 white & yellow on blue | 30 white & yellow on black |
Here it shows which colour schemes to use. The majority of my focus group went with the white and black on grey (number 15) because they preferred the fact that it will have more of a powerful impact on the poster and magazine cover as a whole. I will therefore do this but for the magazine cover I will add a yellow title because it stands out a bit more and so it will make it more eye catching and so advertising will be more effective.
This is what I will use in my ancillary products because this is what my focus group prefer, and as my focus group are my target market, I will use this because it appeals to them more.
